Extreme Network's Reseller Meeting in Cyprus was a great success

Ottobrunn/Nikosia, 11/3/2008 – The regulary held reseller meeting of Extreme Networks happened this time at Cyprus, near Nikosia. In front of around 100 resellers and four training partners from all the world Extreme Networks presented the results of the last financial year and presented the interesting and informative views of the future of networking.

An important result for customers wanting to do official trainings: the regional restrictions of the training partners were lifted conjointly. This means a lasting improvement for the customers of Extreme Networks that can now choose the training partner they want, independant of the headquarters of the customer and indenpendant of the headquarters of the ATP.

New Extreme Networks' XOS 12.1 courses available as of january 1st 2009

Ottobrunn / Santa Clara, 6th november 2008 – Extreme Networks presented the new course materials for the new XOS 12.1 courses that will be delivered as of january 1st 2009.

Besides the content changes regarding the new operation system 12.1 the structure of the practical exercises ("Labs") has been completely revised and adapted to the actual hardware. Most important for Extreme Networks customers is that the new courses are only delivered on the new hardware generation.

ALuP offers pan-european support for new Extreme Networks’ Partner Programme

Ottobrunn/London/Breda, May 9th, 2008 – Extreme Networks’ new Partner Programme, effective from January 1st, 2008, provides a newly designed training plan to support its partners in delivering high quality consulting and maintenance.

As major European ATP (Authorized Training Provider), ALuP is actively supporting this quality offensive and offers four European ENS Fast Track courses in Spain (Madrid), Italy (Milan), Portugal (Lisbon) and the Netherlands (Breda).

This 7-day track includes all necessary content to receive the ENS-certificate which can be acquired subsequent to the ENS Fast Track by doing the correspondent exam.

Remote Lab for ENS Certification available

Ottobrunn, London, Breda 9.March 2008. ALuP IT Services is happy to announce availability of Remote Lab facilities for all ENA and ENS classes from Extreme Networks. After a second developing period and intensive testing of 5 months every lab of the classes ECF, ERF, ESF, EIGP, EMR and the ENA Exam itself is now released. After delivering the first ENS Track on the new platform ALuP will make available the advantages of the remote lab to the worldwide ATP community of Extreme Networks.

ALuP promotes international sales

Ottobrunn/London/Breda, 1st February 2008. As of today, ALuP welcomes Patricia Kriszt to their international sales team. After her studies at the University of Applied Sciences and after earning her diploma as interpreter she was previously employed by software resellers and vendors. With her fluent English and French she will at first help ALuP to increase its activities in the French market, which is besides the German and English market one out of the three most important markets in Europe. Michael Häring, Managing Director of ALuP: „With Patricia Kriszt ALuP is now not only able to deliver trainings in French but also able to consult our French customers in their mother-tongue. Therefore we expect a noticeable increase in French sales in the next three to six month to come. This is an important step forward in the direction of getting closer to being the number one training partner of Foundry and Extreme in France.”

Santa Clara, 15th January 2008. Foundry Networks finally released the actual version of „TRNG-0240 Advanced Server Load Balancing“ with an immediate effect. Besides a textual revision and introduction of a uniform formatting of the student guides, the most important innovations are: Upgrade to Release 10.0 of ServerIron Software New module „SSL and SSL Acceleration“ The course is now available at AluP in German and in English.

ENS Certification Track in Milan

Ottobrunn, Milan, June 2007. ALuP delivered the ENS Certification Training for 7 Resellers in Milan, Italy. ALuP It Services has setup in conjunction with the local extreme Offices a tailored Training Track for the ENS certification. The Trainings were delivered in Milan Italy and as result Extreme Networks certified 17 new ENS Engineers.
