Foundry Networks Certification Program

Foundry Networks certification meets the needs of today's network engineers
Foundry Networks is a performance and total solutions leader for end-to-end switching and routing. The Foundry Networks Certification Program (FNCP) positions the certificated consultants as a leader in high performance networks by validating technical excellence in planning, designing, configuring and implementing solutions for customers - whether they are corporate internal clients or external consulting clients. The FNCP is the first certification to validate knowledge across three networking areas: Enterprise Networking, Web Switching and Internet Routing. Certification demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to build and support high performance networks consisting of layer 2-7 network infrastructure, content delivery networks and intranet and metro backbone.

As of today there are two levels of certification available, those being:

• Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer (FNCNE)
• Foundry Networks Certified Network Professional (FNCNP)

Within each level there are two tracks being designed

• a Layer 2-3 / Enterprise certification track and
• a Layer 4-7 / Service Provider track
