This is achieved through completion of an online exam comprised of IP networking technology and in-depth knowledge of Foundry products. There are two methods to earn the FNCNE. A single exam method (FNO-125 consisting of 100 questions) and a two exam method (FNO-103 consisting of 75 questions and FNC-202 consisting of 90 questions). The exam questions are very challenging and prior "hands on" experience is essential.
How to prepare:
Individuals pursuing a Certified Network Engineer (CNE) certification should have a fundamental knowledge of networking prior to learning the specifics of Foundry networking. The Basic Switch Router Configuration and Maintenance (TRNG-0103) and the Introduction to Web Switching and Load Balancing (TRNG-0202) courses prepare the candidate for the FNCNE certification.
